For the past two and half years it has been my privilege to serve as lead pastor here at New Covenant. Over the past twenty one years in full time ministry I have had the privilege of serving as student pastor throughout the state. God has placed a desire to reach young people in my heart that has transitioned with me into my position as a lead pastor. We have seen God give us a rebirth here at New Covenant and a deep desire to seriously impact our community and county for Christ.

God has blessed me with my wonderful wife Robin who has minstered beside me for the last twenty one years. He has given us two wonderful boys Cameron and Austin who serve alondside of us in ministry. It is our desire to lead others and equip others to effectively reach thier world for Christ.

I am passionate about teaching/preaching, discipling others and sharing the simple story of how much Jesus loves you and I. I continue to write frequently for Lifeway Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention as well as lead conferences throughout the states on student ministry. My hobbies enjoy backpacking, skiing, and spending time in the great outdoors, but I most enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys.

I was brought up in a morally sound home and went to church as a child. At the age of seven I realized my need for a personal relationship with Jesus. My dad led me through a simple prayer and that was the start of Jesus using me for His kingdom. I started out at the age of eighteen as a youth and music pastor and have been involved in church work ever since. I am glad that God has brought my family and myself to Grass Valley and especially New Covenant where we can help children and teens learn about God's love for them. I look forward to helping you along the journey that God has prepared for each one of you.
