For the past four and half years it has been my privilege to serve as lead pastor here at New Covenant. It has been an incredible journey as we have watched the hand of God move in our midst. From young people to old we have seen God drawing people of all walks of life into His presence and into our church. We have seen God do a new thing here at New Covenant and are excited about the future that God has for us.

God has blessed me with my wonderful wife Robin who has minstered right alongside of me and continues to play an intrical part in our ministry here.. He has given us two wonderful boys Cameron and Austin who serve alondside of us in ministry as well. It is our desire to lead others and equip others to effectively reach thier world for Christ.

I am passionate about teaching/preaching, discipling others and sharing the simple story of how much Jesus loves you and I.  To me there is no greater joy than being able to serve God in such a great church and incredibly beautiful area. i love the opportunities to write for Lifeway Christian Resources and to teach others in conferences. I enjoy backpacking, fishing, water sports, and spending time with my family.

I was brought up in a morally sound home and went to church as a child. At the age of seven I realized my need for a personal relationship with Jesus. My dad led me through a simple prayer and that was the start of Jesus using me for His kingdom. I started out at the age of eighteen as a youth and music pastor and have been involved in church work ever since. I am glad that God has brought my family and myself to Grass Valley and especially New Covenant where we can help children and teens learn about God's love for them. I look forward to helping you along the journey that God has prepared for each one of you.
