Email RandyFor the past seven years it has been my privilege to serve as lead pastor here at New Covenant. It has been an incredible journey as we have watched the hand of God move in our midst. From young people to old we have seen God drawing people of all walks of life into His presence and into our church. We have seen God do a new thing here at New Covenant and are excited about the future that God has for us.
God has blessed me with my wonderful wife Robin who has minstered right alongside of me and continues to play an intrical part in our ministry here.. He has given us two wonderful boys Cameron and Austin who serve alondside of us in ministry as well. It is our desire to lead others and equip others to effectively reach thier world for Christ.
I am passionate about teaching/preaching, discipling others and sharing the simple story of how much Jesus loves you and I. To me there is no greater joy than being able to serve God in such a great church and incredibly beautiful area. i love the opportunities to write for Lifeway Christian Resources and to teach others in conferences. I enjoy backpacking, fishing, water sports, and spending time with my family.

My family and I are excited to be back in our hometown of Grass Valley after spending 8 years in Lynchburg Virginia. I find God amazing as we have followed His leading and timing as we have picked up our roots in Virginia and moved back home. Since we have been back God has been moving in our lives as well as in our home church of New Covenant.
Both my wife (Katie) and I were active youth at New Covenant as we flew through our high school years. My wife graduated from Nevada Union and I from Bear River. After graduation we continued to help and work with the youth of New Covenant until we moved to finish college at Liberty University, which is the most exciting Christian University in the world. Sorry, that’s my shameless plug for my alma mater. My wife has a secondary education degree in English and I have a B.S. degree in religion with a youth emphasis. We graduated in May 2007 and had our wonderful little girl Brooke in December of that same year.
We enjoy backpacking, hiking, fishing, gold mining, and just about anything outside so we can enjoy God’s wonderful creation. We also like taking youth to conferences and concerts, or anywhere that we can get to know them better. We see what God has been doing in this church and look forward to being a part of His awesome work. We are happy to be back home in our town of Grass Valley, home in our old church, and home with the youth we have that we have never stopped loving. We are excited to be joining the team here at New Covenant and look forward to the great things that God has in store for us and the youth in our community.
